چکیده
Abstract Lake Urmia has experienced climate change over the last decades, dramatically reducing water level. This study applies Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) to evaluate runoff management strategies under different scenarios in Zarrineh River Basin. We examined two strategies: projected based on business-as-usual (BAU) trend Changes Cropping Pattern (CCP). The variables were downscaled using Climate Change Toolkit (CCT) for near future (2025–2049) far (2075–2099) periods Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) (2.6 8.5). results revealed that decreased by 6–23% 9–52% future, respectively, BAU scenario compared baseline period. Antithetically, it increased 3.5–21% 13–55% periods, CCP strategy estimated up 30% higher than strategy. findings suggested can be considered a pragmatic since surcharged collected into caused mitigation of imminent environmental disasters region provided needs its ecosystems.

Analysis of Streamflow Changes under Climate Change Using Rainfall-Runoff Model in the Kor River Basin
Abstract In this study, the predicted monthly temperature and rainfall data from HadCM3 model (base period, ۱۹۷۲-۲۰۰۱) and next period (۲۰۱۱-۲۰۴۰) under A2emission scenario were used to investigate the impacts of climate change on runoff variations in the Kor river basin. HadCM3 model output was downscaled based on a temporal downscaling approach (Change Factor) and spatial downscaling appro...
متن کاملFuture climate change impact on hydrological regime of river basin using SWAT model
Hydrological components in a river basin can get adversely affected by climate change in coming future. Manipur River basin lies in the extreme northeast region of India nestled in the lesser Himalayan ranges and it is under severe pressure from anthropogenic and natural factors. Basin is un-gauged as it lies in remote location and suffering from large data scarcity. This paper explores the imp...

Climate change has direct and indirect consequences on crop production and food security. Agriculture and cropproduction is one of the factors which depend on the weather conditions and it provides the human requirements inmany aspects. The objective of this study is to assess the impacts of future climatic change on irrigated rice yieldusing the CERES-Rice model in the Southern Coast of Caspia...
متن کاملUncertainty Investigation of Precipitation and Temperature Scenarios for the Sira Basin under Climate Change Impact
Results of assessment of the future climate change impacts is associated with some uncertainties. Considering the range of uncertainties increases reliability of the results. In this study, climate change impacts on daily precipitation, maximum and minimum temperature of Sira basin are assessed using LARS-WG model, for 2036-65 period. Accordingly, uncertainty of new emissions scenarios (RCP2.6،...
متن کاملPrediction of Climate Change in Western of Iran using Downscaling of HadCM3 Model under Different Scenarios
Abstract Considering that water resources are at risk from climate change, the study of temperature and precipitation changes in the coming years can lead to droughts such as droughts, sudden floods, high evaporation and environmental degradation. To this end, global climate models (GCMs) are designed to assess climate change. The outputs of these models have low spatial accuracy. In order ...
